Temperature in many districts crosses 40 degrees, no respite from the heat till April 30: MET

Ranchi: The weather pattern has become very hot in Jharkhand. There are six districts where the temperature has gone above 40 degrees.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert in view of this changing weather pattern. Along with this, it has been said that in view of the rising temperature, children and the elderly need special attention.

The Meteorological Department has also given advice in 10 points. By the way, there are hardly any chances of change in this weather pattern. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is going to remain like this till April 30.

The MET has asked people to avoid stepping out between 11:00 PM to 3:00 PM, wear light-colored loose and cotton clothes, to cover heads use a cloth cap or umbrella drink enough water, even if you do not feel thirsty, it is important to avoid dehydration. 

Especially labourers should avoid working in direct sunlight from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. People should schedule tough tasks for cooler times of the day ans also schedule playtime for outdoor activities People have been asked to keep animals indoors between 11:00 am and 4:00 PM and irrigate plants and crops, recognize signs of weakness such as heat stroke or heat cramps.

The Meteorological Department has said that humid conditions will prevail for the next four days. Apart from the capital Ranchi, the effect of the heat waves will continue till April 30 in Giridih, East and West Singhbhum, Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra, Koderma, Bokaro, and Dhanbad districts.
