Ranchi Jul 18 : Swami Agnivesh alleged that attack on him which took place in Pakur was part of a well planned conspiracy as the local administration and the government already knew about his visit to the area.
Addressing a press conference here he said despite having prior information about his programme the district administration and the state government made no arrangements for his security and if a probe needed to be done than one must find out my security arrangements were not made so that the guilty can be punished.
“However I am not hopeful that the central or the state government will order a probe in this regards,” he said while being also accompanied by former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi and former Union Minister Subodhkant Sahai.
He said that where ever he goes prior information is given to the administration of that area so that necessary security arrangements can be made. Swami Agnivesh said that some people were arrested in this connection but they were let off the very next day which shows the real intentions of the state government. He accused the BJP and the RSS of bring a bad name to Lord Ram and said that Hindutva never advocates violence.
Swami Agnivesh said that the condition of the tribals in the entire country was poor and governor is considered the protector of all the tribal rights but no governor in the last 50 years stood for the rights of the tribals due to which he was staging agitation across the country. He said every law meant for tribals was being violated so the tribals invited him. He said that earlier only 25000 people were supposed to present in the programme but about one lakh people reached but despite that no security arrangements were made as the government wanted him to get killed.
He said that the manner in which the incident took place in Pakur shows that BJP and RSS have no respect for constitution and alleged that the country was moving towards hard-core Hinduism which is not taught by the Sanatan Dharma. Swami Agnivesh said that in the entire country Hindus and Hinduism were in danger.
