‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ program organised by CBC, Dumka

Dumka: A cleanliness program on ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ was organized by the Central Communication Bureau, Dumka, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India in Sadar block of Dumka district. In this sequence, on the first day on Friday a special cleanliness campaign was organized in Government High School Karharbil, Dumka Vidyalaya.

On this occasion, banners and standees of ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ were installed in the program premises. First of all, the Principal of Technical Assistant School of Unit K was honoured. First of all, the unit administered an oath on cleanliness among the students and all the teachers. After that the students conducted a cleaning campaign in the school premises.

MK Alam, Technical Assistant, said that nine years ago, Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had given a clear message for cleanliness in 2014. Therefore, we all will have to contribute towards cleanliness, only then our country, society, markets and schools will remain clean.

Senior teacher Suman Lata Marandi said that through the Swachhta Hi Seva campaign of the Government of India, we all will have to fulfill the resolve of Mahatma Gandhi by donating at least two hours a week i.e. 100 hours every year.
