In wake of the rising cases during the second wave of Coronavirus the Women’s Doctor Wing, IMA Jharkhand, Swach Bharat Mission and UNICEF conducted an online training cum awareness campaign.
The purpose of the initiative was to remove the apprehensions among the people related to Covid appropriate behaviour and vaccination and also those related to birth. In the programme 30,000 Jal Sahiyas were linked with different women wings of IMA.
Inaugurating the programme national president of IMA Jaya Lal suggested all the women wings of the IMA to adopt the Jharkhand initiative so that apprehensions towards Corona vaccination does not come way in the drive. Further birth related misconceptions should be also removed.
Main speakers Dr Ravi Kashyap, Dr Bharti Kashyap and Dr Rupinder Senkho through the webinar detailed on birth related issued, Covid appropriate behaviour, eye donation awareness, cancer etc.
Dr Ravi Kashyap who is professor at Illinois University in USA in Hindi explained the Sahiyas on Covid appropriate behaviour and impact of vaccination on delivery related cases.
Director of Rajeev Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre New Delhi Dr Rupinder Senkhi detailed over starting of breast cancer and other issues related to women health and hygiene. She said that since breast cancer and cervical cancers are not detected on time most of the women end up losing their lives.
Dr Bharti Kashyap detailed on eye donation and Prashant Das head of UNICEF Jharkhand Prashant Das pointed on correct way of washing the hands.
