Ranchi: Abhishek Jha, the husband of suspended and jailed IAS Pooja Singhal in the corruption and money laundering case, surrendered in the special court of Ranchi ED, after which the court granted him the facility of regular bail.
On Tuesday, in the light of the order of the Supreme Court, Abhishek Jha surrendered in the ED court and filled the bail bond. Recently, the Supreme Court had given advance bail to Abhishek Jha with several conditions.
In the ED court, he deposited two bail bonds of Rs 1 lakh each in the court, along with his passport was also deposited in the court. In fact, while hearing the anticipatory bail petition filed by Abhishek Jha, husband of Pooja Singhal, the Supreme Court provided him the facility of anticipatory bail.
