Ranchi: A hearing was held in the Jharkhand High Court on Thursday on the quashing petition of Ranchi’s former DC Chhavi Ranjan, accused of involvement in the sale and purchase of disputed land on the basis of fake documents in different areas of Ranchi, including the land occupied by the army.
During the hearing, his advocate withdrew his petition with the permission of the court. During the hearing, Assistant Solicitor General of India (ASGI) Anil Kumar was also present on behalf of the Central Government.
Advocates Indrajit Sinha and Abhishek Chowdhary were present on behalf of Chhavi Ranjan.
A hearing was held on the petition of suspended IAS Chhavi Ranjan in the bench of Justice Gautam Kumar Chaudhary.
