Ranchi: The new academic year 2024-2025 was started by organizing a program on Friday at Notre Dame School, Gumla. Bishop Theodore Mascarenhas of Daltonganj was present as the chief guest on this occasion.
Principal of Notre Dame School, Sr. Mary Prafulla welcomed the Bishop by gifting him his favourite fruits litchi and saplings and draping him with a shawl. School children presented a beautiful dance. Addressing the students, Bishop said that children, you all should work hard and dream big. He said that our future is in our hands.
Others can only help us, we ourselves have to move forward by working on the talents given by God. Section Principal Sr. Mary Suchita thanked everyone. Bishop’s Secretary Amardeep Kerketta, Notre Dame Sisters and teachers and students were present in the programme.
