Storm and rain in Jharkhand on 6 and 7 December due to Cyclone ‘Michaung’

Ranchi: The effects of cyclonic storm Michong are visible in entire Jharkhand including the capital Ranchi. Due to this, the weather pattern in Jharkhand seems to be changing since December 4. And even on December 5 (Tuesday), clouds have camped throughout the day. Besides, it also rained in many areas. Along with this, light winds have increased the cold.

According to Ranchi Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of storm in the state on December 6 and 7. According to the Meteorological Center, light to moderate rain was recorded in many districts of Kolhan and Ranchi divisions on Tuesday. There may be rain in many districts on 6th and 7th December. \

The weather center has expressed the possibility of mercury falling from December 9. Strong winds may break power lines at many places in the state, disrupting power supply. The electricity department is already on alert mode regarding this.

GMs of all area boards have been instructed to remain alert. Due to this Cyclonic Storm, Several Trains cancelled at Hatia Railway Station in Ranchi on Tuesday. Trains and flights operating from many parts of the state are being cancelled. Gang men in all stations are instructed to be ready and prepared to deal with any emergency.
