State government will soon start Air ambulance facility for patients : Hemant Soren

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that his government is making continuous efforts to strengthen the health facilities in Jharkhand as part of which air ambulance facility will soon be provided to the patients in the state.

Speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of First Nephro Critical Care Conference-2023 organized at Gymkhana Club he said that this facility will be made available to the common people at the exact government rate.

For better treatment, patients can avail the facility of air ambulance if they want to go to any hospital established in any corner of the country, the Chief Minister said adding that the work is being done to connect the medical circuits of the state with each other.

He said that an action plan is being prepared for making generic medicines available to needy patients in rural areas as well. Continuing further he said that there are many things in the health sector which need to be prepared at the ground level and therefore it is the priority for the government that all the district headquarters hospitals of the state work in the presence of specialist doctors.

Hemant Soren said that a lot more work needs to be done to strengthen the health facilities in Jharkhand. The state government is preparing a better action plan in the health sector. The Chief Minister said that he had gone to Budha Pahar located in Garhwa district recently and there was a time when Budha Pahar was under the control of the maoists and the people of the rural areas near Budha Pahar were prohibited from visiting this mountain.

The people there still do not even know that there is a city like Ranchi in the state. It can be understood from this that what would be the condition of the health facilities there, he said adding that his government continuously thinks for the betterment of health facilities.

The Chief Minister said that Azim Premji, who is doing better work in the health sector in many parts of the country, is also going to join us very soon. The state government has provided 300 acres of land to Azim Premji where a medical college will be set up along with health facilities. 

Azim Premji’s organization will coordinate with the state government to provide health facilities to people in remote rural areas. There are many such institutions, including Apollo, providing services in the health sector, who want to give their services in Jharkhand also and for that the state government is preparing an action plan.

The Chief Minister said that his government has laid emphasis on strengthening health facilities in the state by making better coordination with private hospitals. He said that when the condition of elite states of the country was worse during the global corona pandemic then his state Jharkhand presented an example of better management and worked to save the people of the state from this infection.

He said that the department did not do any miracles during the Corona period but it was the result of the better coordination of all the doctors and the state government that the problem like corona could be handled carefully. He said that the role of all doctors was important during the Corona transition.

The Chief Minister said that this two-day Nephro Critical Care Conference program would prove to be a milestone in the health sector and whatever suggestions the state government receives from the expert doctors in the Nephro Critical Care Conference, the state government will definitely consider those suggestions.

The Chief Minister extended his best wishes and congratulations to all the doctors and organizers. On this occasion, Dronacharya Samman and Pride of Jharkhand Award were awarded to several specialist doctors who did better work by the Chief Minister.
