State government to provide land & house to Divyang Cricketer Sujit Munda

Ranchi: Divyang Cricketer Sujit Munda met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at Chief Minister’s residential office Kanke Road. Sujit Munda apprised the Chief Minister that he has been selected in Team India for the upcoming Blind Cricket T20 World Cup to be held from December 4 to December 17, 2022.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren conveyed his best wishes to Divyang Cricketer Sujit Munda for his good performance in the Blind T20 World Cup. The Chief Minister also presented a cricket kit to Sujit Munda on the occasion.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren has assured Divyang cricketer Sujit Munda of giving land in Ranchi and a house. The Chief Minister told that the state government would take full responsibility for the education of his children. It is the moral responsibility of the state government to provide quality education to his children and under the new sports policy, there is a provision of scholarship and cash award and instructions have been given to ensure the benefit of this.

Earlier in the course of a conversation in front of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Divyang Cricketer Sujit Munda and his wife Anita Tigga said that they do not have any house of their own to live in and their financial condition is also very pathetic. 

Taking their words seriously the Chief Minister has assured them of all possible help from the state government. The Chief Minister directed the Sports Director to make available the facilities provided to the players under the new sports policy keeping in view the needs and problems of Sujit Munda.

Munda looked very happy after meeting Chief Minister Hemant Soren. After talking to the Chief Minister Munda said that now he will definitely try to do better in the Blind T20 World Cup. He said that he had very positive talks with the Chief Minister. 

The Chief Minister has assured them of providing all possible help. Sujit Munda expressed his gratitude towards the Chief Minister. Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey, Sports Director Sarojini Lakra and Divyang cricketer Sujit Munda’s wife Anita Tigga were present on the occasion.
