CM directs officials to complete Yogada Ashram-Kantatoli-Kokar flyover construction on time

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday had a look at the progress being made in the construction of Yogada Ashram- Kantatoli-Kokar flyover and directed the officials to complete the construction work on time. 

He asked the officials to ensure the timely execution of the project and also maintain the quality of construction work for the flyover which will start from Yogada Satsang Ashram and end at Shanti Nagar at Kokar.

The Chief Minister said that providing hassle-free commuting in the capital is a priority area for the state government moreover this flyover will help to get rid of the traffic jam in the capital. He said that if any difficulties are being faced in the construction work then the officials of the construction company and JUDCO should immediately work in coordination with the state government.

Hemant directed the officials to complete the land acquisition by November 30, 2022 and also address the issue related petrol pump or any other encroachment. Further, the work of shifting of electricity poles is completed by December 15 so that there are no obstacles in construction.

He directed to make sure that people do not face any obstacles during construction work and that better diversion road be made so that the people do not face any problems in traveling. The Chief Minister directed the company constructing the project to make junctions wherever necessary so that the flyover can remain free from jams and all security parameters are followed at any cost.

He asked the Ranchi DC to make sure that there is no shortage of sand for work. Before inspecting the
construction work he saw the presentation by JUDCO and the construction company over flyover construction.

During the presentation apart from work progress details of other different aspects were also highlighted. The Chief Minister said that due to small obstacles work should not be impacted and after establishing coordination with the state government all works should be completed.

Those present included Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Rajeev Arun Ekka, Secretary Vinay Kumar Choubey and others.
