SSC-CGL paper leak: Bail hearing of accused Snehhi in CID court on May 8

Ranchi: The bail plea of Krishna Snehhi, an accused in the JSSC-CGL 2024 paper leak case, will be heard by the special CID court in Ranchi on May 8. This comes after the court concluded hearings on the bail pleas of six other accused in the same case and reserved its judgment.

The alleged paper leak relates to the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination conducted by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) on September 21 and 22, 2024. The exams were held in three shifts across all districts of the state.

According to the CID investigation, a group was involved in defrauding candidates by promising them access to the exam paper in exchange for money. The scam involved misleading aspirants and extorting large sums under the pretext of providing leaked question papers before the examination.

The case has sparked widespread concern among candidates and led to an ongoing legal and administrative probe.
