SPG reaches Deoghar under leadership of IG regarding PM Modi’s visit, to look into security arrangements

Deoghar: The SPG team from Delhi reached Deoghar before the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on 12th July. In the team, SPG’s IG, their AIG rank officers, and one other officer are involved. The remaining officers and jawans of SPG will also reach soon. According to the information received, the SPG officials will finalize all the preparations related to the security of the Prime Minister.

IG SPG along with his entire team will take stock of the three venues and the route through which the Prime Minister will pass. It will closely check the security arrangements of all the areas and will coordinate with the State Police. Along with this, where and what security arrangements will be made, the SPG officers will hold a meeting with other big officers including DC and SP.

The SPG team will also take stock of the meeting place at the airport, Baba Baidnath Temple, and Deoghar College. SPG officials will also review the security arrangements of the route line and the venue. 29 rooms have been arranged for the officers of SPG. On the other hand, 80 percent of preparations have been completed for the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Deoghar.

Big cutouts of PM Modi have been installed from the airport to Baba Mandir and Deoghar College route. The entire city has been decorated with the poster of PM Modi and the flag of BJP. The VIP road leading to PM Modi’s Deoghar College is also being prepared at night.

In view of the arrival of the SPG team including officials of the Airport, Home Ministry, and Health Department from Delhi, the district administration has canceled the booking of all the big hotels and government guest houses in the city till July 12. Taking the big hotels under its control, the district administration has given strict instructions not to make new bookings.

People present in the meeting of Deoghar College Ground will also be able to see and hear PM Modi’s speech at the inauguration program at Baba Baidyanath Temple and the PM’s worship.
