Ranchi: A major road accident occurred in the Taraghaty area of Koderma district on Friday, where a truck and car collided, leaving six members of the same family seriously injured.
According to reports, Srikant Kumar from Nawada was traveling with his parents, wife, and two daughters to Dhanbad when a speeding truck coming from Koderma collided with their car. The car was badly damaged in the crash, and all the passengers were injured.
With the help of highway patrolling police, the injured were immediately rushed to Kodarma Sadar Hospital. Doctors described the condition of three individuals as critical and referred them to RIMS in Ranchi for further treatment. Upon receiving the information, the Kodarma police arrived at the scene and began their investigation.
Station House Officer Arvind Kumar confirmed that a case has been registered against the unidentified truck driver, and further actions are being taken.
