Mumbai — Actors Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia are gearing up to shoot a special folklore-themed dance sequence for their upcoming film Vvan in Mumbai. The film, which is rooted in cultural folklore, has already generated significant excitement among audiences.
According to sources associated with the project, the lead pair is expected to film an elaborate and visually captivating dance sequence that aligns with the film’s folklore-based narrative. Since Vvan deeply explores traditional cultural themes, the sequence is anticipated to enhance the film’s storytelling and visual appeal.
Vvan is written by Arunabh Kumar and jointly directed by Deepak Mishra and Arunabh Kumar. The film’s cinematography and visual direction are handled by Manu Anand. It is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar, and Niraj Kothari, and is scheduled to hit theatres this year.
Earlier this year, Tamannaah Bhatia extended heartfelt birthday wishes to her co-star Sidharth Malhotra through social media. Sharing his photograph on her Instagram Stories, she wished him good health, happiness, and joy for the year ahead.
The film was initially planned for release around the Chhath festival in 2025 but was later postponed for undisclosed reasons. Announcing the revised release date, Sidharth shared on social media that the film will now release on May 15, 2026, teasing fans with the promise of a grand cinematic adventure.
The folk-fantasy thriller also features Maniesh Paul and Shweta Tiwari in pivotal roles and is jointly produced by Balaji Telefilms and TVF Motion Pictures.
