Mumbai: Actress Shrenu Parikh took a nostalgic trip down memory lane as her popular television show Ishqbaaaz completed 10 years since its premiere on Saturday.
Celebrating the milestone, Shrenu shared a heartfelt post on social media, reminiscing about the unforgettable moments she spent on the sets of the show. Looking back at the experience, she said that even after a decade, she would happily relive those days in a heartbeat.
Calling Ishqbaaaz a “dream show” with a “dream team,” the actress recalled the fun-filled atmosphere on set, where the cast and crew created countless memories together. She fondly remembered filming challenging 15-minute single-shot scenes, changing multiple looks in a day, coordinating outfits with her co-stars, enjoying lunch breaks together, and wrapping up shoots early after productive days.
Reflecting on those cherished moments, Shrenu wrote that the memories, lessons, and friendships from the show still feel as fresh as if filming had begun only yesterday.
She ended her emotional note by saying, “Nostalgia ko zara bolo itna bhi na aaye,” adding that she deeply missed playing her beloved character, Gauri Kumari Sharma, affectionately known as Chulbul.
Ishqbaaaz aired on Star Plus from June 27, 2016, to March 15, 2019, and featured a popular ensemble cast including Nakuul Mehta, Surbhi Chandna, Kunal Jaisingh, Leenesh Mattoo, Mansi Srivastava and Shrenu Parikh.
The show later returned in December 2018 with a generational leap under the title Ishqbaaz: Pyaar Ki Ek Dhinchak Kahaani, starring Nakuul Mehta alongside Niti Taylor.
Created by Gul Khan and directed by Lalit Mohan, Ishqbaaaz remains one of Indian television’s most loved family dramas.
