Ranchi: DGP Ajay Kumar Singh has given instructions to immediately rectify the shortcomings in the security arrangements of the court. The DGP said this during the review meeting on Monday. A review meeting was held at Jharkhand Police Headquarters through video conferencing to strengthen the security arrangements of all the court complexes, judges and their residential colonies in the state.
In the meeting, the DGP held a detailed discussion with all the zonal IGs, range DIGs, SSPs, SPs on increasing the security of the court premises, honorable judges and their residential colonies under their jurisdiction. Also directed to remove the shortcomings in the security system immediately.
In the course of the review, DGP Jharkhand directed frequent surprise inspections of court premises, judges and their residential premises, officers deputed in colonies and senior police officers of the forces and immediately rectified the errors found. Besides, emphasis was laid on training the deputed officers and forces to remain ready for duty, pre-duty briefing and continuous monitoring.
