Ranchi: Security forces took out a flag march on Thursday afternoon to ensure peaceful voting in Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency.
On the instructions of SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha, flag march was conducted by security forces in many areas including sensitive areas of the capital, Mohajid Nagar, Nizam Nagar, under the leadership of Kotwali DSP Prakash Soe.
During this, police officials also appealed to the common people to vote without any fear.
In the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections, elections are to be held on four Lok Sabha seats of Jharkhand.
In the third phase of the state, voting will be held on May 25 in Ranchi, Giridih, Dhanbad and Jamshedpur.
Strict security arrangements have also been made by the district police regarding voting.
Apart from the district police, other forces including paramilitary forces, CRPF, JAP, IRB have also been called for voting.
So that there is no disturbance of any kind during voting.
The booths built in every police station area have been kept completely safe.
At the same time, to ensure peaceful voting, highly sensitive booths in urban areas were also inspected.
Special security arrangements have also been made in the militancy-affected areas of Ranchi district.
Special forces have also been deployed in these areas.
So that no obstruction of any kind arises during voting.
Police patrolling is also being done in these areas.
Police are also working to make people aware about voting.
Paramilitary forces have also been deployed in these areas.
Apart from this, District Police and Reserve Battalion have also been deployed at different places.
Along with all the police forces, officials have also been put on duty. Before sending the force to their polling station, the people were also informed about the guidelines given by the Election Commission.
So that officers and soldiers do not face any problem while on duty.
