Ranchi: Secretary of the SC-ST welfare department K K Soan has directed to make sure that the students who are studying in B Ed institutions outside the state are able to apply on the e-Kalyan portal.
The portal for these students will be opened till September 30 while for the students who are studying the institutions in the state is already opened for applying for scholarships.
He has also directed that the scholarship for the students of classes 1 to 10th for the academic session 2021-22 be released as soon as possible. In this context, he has directed the officials of the welfare department to work in coordination with the education department.
Further for the post matric students studying in institutions inside or across the state for the academic session 2021-22 the applications are being invited till September 30.
Further the last date for registration of educational institutions on the e-kalyan portal has been extended from August 14 to August 31, 2021.
Further incase of any problems the students applying for scholarships can register their grievances through social media. At the district level all regional officers will look into the complaints of the students and solve their problems.
