Ranchi: in the presence of MD JFDCL and IPRD director Ram Lakhan Prasad Gupta screening of three movies was held at the Auditorium of the Suchna Bhawan. The movies included Gangster Dulhania in Bhojpuri, Gaon in Hindi and Bangla film Oskar.
Speaking on the occasion he said that to encourage the film industry in the strait that Jharkhand government as part of its women Policy was providing a financial incentive so that youth of the state can get employment opportunities in the film industry. On the occasion members of Jharkhand Film Development Corporation Limited and others were also present.
Nodal officer for JFDCL Sayed Rashid Akhtar said that screening of three films was held which have been shot in the state. He said that as for the film policy this films would be only provided financial assistance after they fulfill all the criteria which have been laid down in the policy. He said that as part of the film policy filmmaking is being encouraged in the state so that tourism also increases while job opportunities are created for the youth and artists from the state.
