Latehar, Apr 28: State’s Food and Civil Supplies Minister Saryu Rai
ordered a probe by the executive engineer of the PWD into the schemes
of the NPCC and also asked to ensure that the people’s representatives
are also present during the probe of the scheme.
Addressing the meeting of the district planning committee he said that
all people should cooperate with each other for ensuring progress, He
asked the officials and the representatives to carry out their
responsibilities by making a joint effort. He said that the state
government would be completing two and a half years in power on June
28 therefore they should make assessment of the work done and try to
complete the pending works.
Executive engineer of the REO said that out of 42 schemes of the NPCC
probe has been done of 40 and described the work of road construction
done by the company as satisfactory while on the other hand the
representatives alleged that the work of the firm was far from
satisfactory. He directed that under RSVI once the new instructions
from the government are received the people should get benefits of the
health insurance.
