Ranchi: Municipal Corporation Administrator Amit Kumar visited the city and took stock of the arrangements in various squares and shelter homes.
During this time, the corporation team shifted the people who were spending the night on the roadside to the nearest shelter home.
Also, blankets were given to the homeless people to protect them from the cold.
The Municipal Corporation Administrator directed the team to conduct rescue operations every day by identifying the people living on the streets under the Ranchi Municipal Corporation area.
Amit Kumar also inspected the shelter homes.
In this sequence, he took information about proper arrangements in the shelter homes like cleanliness, electricity, water.
Necessary guidelines were also given to the concerned officials for its better operation.
