Ranchi: The new variant of Corona, JN.1, is spreading rapidly in the country. In view of the increasing cases of Corona, the Jharkhand government has also come on alert mode. Necessary guidelines have been given to hospitals, health institutions and officials of all the districts.
In this sequence, RIMS Medical Superintendent Hirendra Birua took stock of oxygen, beds and other arrangements in the hospital on Monday morning. During this time, the Medical Superintendent asked all the RIMS employees to wear masks. Also, doctors were ordered to provide consultation by wearing masks in OPD.
In view of the increasing cases of Corona across the country, a Corona ward has been created near the Trauma Center on the first floor of RIMS. A separate OPD has also been started in Sadar Hospital. Where cold and cough patients will be examined. If symptoms of corona are found in patients, their samples will be tested.
Active cases of Corona in India have increased from 3,000 to 3,420. These figures have come to light amid the increase in cases of the new sub-variant JN.1 of Corona. According to the WHO report, the number of corona patients has increased by 52 percent in the last few days.
The first case of Corona’s new variant JN.1 was reported from Kerala. Here one person also lost his life due to Corona. Amidst the increasing cases of new variants of Corona, the Health Department has also issued new guidelines.
