Ranchi: The rising temperature in the state has forced the government to change the school timings providing much-needed relief to the children from the scorching heat and hot winds.
A notification in this regard has been issued by the School Education and Literacy Department. As per the notification due to requests made by different quarters to change the school timings in wake of rising temperature after due deliberations, it has been decided that the schools will operate from 6 AM to 12 PM.
Most of the districts of the state are reeling above 40 degrees of temperature. Moreover, due to hot winds and rising mercury, there were also reports from various areas with students falling ill due to the hot weather conditions.
