Ranchi: Ranchi RIMS Director Dr. Rajkumar has renovated the emergency ward of the pediatric department by adding 6 additional beds and also enhancing other facilities for the patients. Apart from this, about 10 more beds have been added in the PICU to strengthen the pediatric ward.
Head of Pediatrics Department, Prof. Rajeev Mishra took the Director on a tour of other areas of the ward and gave information about everything. While talking to the senior and junior doctors, Dr Rajkumar said that this is a golden opportunity for everyone to learn, hence everyone should take time and learn carefully from each and every patient.
After this, Dr. Rajkumar also went to the neonatology department and took stock of the arrangements there. Assuring further strengthening of NICU and SNCU, he said that more ventilators and warmer beds will be added there soon. Apart from this, Director Prof. Rajkumar also inspected the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Department.
He has ordered the repair of the broken floor of the department as soon as possible. During the inspection, Medical Superintendent Dr. Hirendra Birua and Deputy Superintendent Dr. Shailesh Tripathi were present along with the Director.
