Ranchi: People in Jharkhand, who have been struggling with intense heat, can now breathe a sigh of relief. The Meteorological Department has announced that the weather in the state will remain pleasant for the next five days. During this period, light rain, strong winds, and occasional hailstorms are expected. This weather change has already brought down the temperature, making the atmosphere feel cooler.
On Monday, while the capital Ranchi and several other districts experienced heat throughout the day, the weather took a turn in the evening with rain and strong winds in several areas. This resulted in a drop in temperature and provided much-needed relief from the heat.
In the last 24 hours, Palamu, Ghatsila, Chaibasa, and some parts of Ranchi received light rainfall. Since Sunday, a noticeable change in weather has been observed, leading to a drop in temperature by 3 to 10 degrees. According to Abhishek Anand, a meteorologist at the Ranchi Meteorological Center, the next 24 hours may bring strong winds and hailstorms in many parts of the state, along with light to moderate rainfall. While there won’t be significant changes in maximum temperatures, the weather will remain cool and comfortable.
