Ranchi/Chatra: In the Amrapali Coal Project of Chatra, Rs 8 is collected per tonne in the name of coal lifting. No DO holder can lift coal without paying money. On receiving the complaint, CBI had raided the Amrapali project on April 4.
CBI had arrested dispatch officer Sudhanshu Kumar Sharma and clerk Jitan Ganjhu for taking bribes of Rs 50 thousand. DO holder Krishna Kumar, resident of Bukru village of the Tandwa police station area, had complained about demand for bribes in the anti-corruption branch of CBI located in Ranchi. After which CBI took this action.
Krishna Gupta had also handed over an audio recording to the CBI. According to which, in return for lifting coal, every coal trader has to pay eight rupees per ton. If money is not paid, coal is not allowed to be lifted. Various types of problems are created.
