Ranchi: Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, the model of Ranchi will be implemented across the country to facilitate the treatment of patients. This was announced by the CEO of the National Health Authority (NHA) Dr RS Sharma on Wednesday. Earlier, he inspected the Sadar Hospital.
Under the Ayushman scheme, he understood the treatment and arrangement being done in the hospital. He also understood how a district hospital ranks third in the country in terms of claims under Ayushman Yojana. After the inspection, he said- that the beneficiaries of Ayushman Yojana do not have to wonder for their identity. For this, a card (token) will be issued across the country from registration to their identification. It will be distributed for free to as many people as possible so that they can go to the hospital and claim that they are the beneficiaries of Ayushman.
He said that more and more hospitals will be added under Ayushman Yojana across the country. Along with this, the hospital package will be made reasonable, so that the private hospital can get proper amount in lieu of treatment. This is necessary to increase the participation of private hospitals, he said. The claims of private hospitals should be settled quickly if no discrepancy is found in the claims of any hospital, then they will be included in the green channel he said that 50 percent will be paid as soon as the claim is submitted and such a step is already being taken in Jharkhand.
On the question of changing the name of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana to Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojna in Jharkhand,
Sharma said- ‘Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana is the Ayushman Yojana. Its name should remain the same, but if there is state participation, the state can add its name. Whatever the name, it is important to have Ayushman Bharat branding. During this, he inspected the infrastructure prepared in Sadar Hospital with the amount of Ayushman Yojana.
He also talked to patients and inquired about the facilities. He asked if any kind of money was being taken from them for their treatment. Apart from this, he also inspected the private hospital Rani Children’s Hospital and Ratu CHC in Ranchi. Ranchi Sadar Hospital ranks third in the country in terms of claiming the amount by treatment under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. At the same time, it is on top in East India.
This year, Rs 11.55 crore has been claimed by the hospital under Ayushman Yojana. Not only this, the amount coming after the treatment is also being used to develop the infrastructure of the hospital.
