Ranchi: A PPT presentation of the re-construction master plan of Urban Haat Ranchi which has remained closed for almost 5 years, was presented in front of Chief Minister Hemant Soren today.
The PPT presentation was given by Municipal Corporation Ranchi. Through the PPT presentation, Chief Minister was apprised that the construction work of Urban Haat Ranchi had started on 30th August 2016 but due to some reason the construction work had remained stopped for the last 5 years.
According to the instructions of the present government, there is a plan to start the re-construction work of Urban Haat Ranchi, for this purpose the Reconstruction Master Plan of Urban Haat has been prepared by the Municipal Corporation Ranchi.
The Chief Minister was apprised that an amount of Rs 10 crore has already been spent for the construction of Urban Haat Ranchi. Under the new master plan, preparations are being made to make Urban Haat Ranchi on the lines of Dilli Haat. While watching the PPT presentation, the Chief Minister directed that full care should be taken to provide maximum employment to various artisans including regional handicrafts of the state at Urban Haat Ranchi.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister gave many important suggestions and guidelines to the officials of Municipal Corporation Ranchi regarding the construction work of Urban Haat.
The Chief Minister said that the construction work of Urban Haat Ranchi should be completed within a stipulated time frame. Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey, Municipal Commissioner Mukesh Kumar, Additional Municipal Commissioner Kunwar Singh Pahan, Chief Engineer Rakesh Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
