Ranchi: The Ranchi Police on Tuesday afternoon pasted the posters of the trouble makers who were involved in the mob violence which took place after Friday Namaz in the capital. However, later the posters which were pasted across prominent spots in the city were withdrawn as a result of which they were blurred.
Ranchi Police had come out with two posters of the hooligans which were pasted across the city. When questioned Ranchi City SP Anshuman Kumar said that some corrections needed to be made to the posters after which they will be again pasted.
It has been informed that some miscreants who were shown in the pictures appear to be minor. As soon as the information reached to the senior officials they were directed to remove the posters. In these pictures, these miscreants were seen holding stones in their hands while some others had their faces covered while in others their names were also mentioned.
Most of the pictures on the posters were of youngsters. The posters also had the contact number details of Ranchi Police officers, an appeal was also made through the posters to identify the people and inform the police. In the mob violence which had taken place on June 10, two people including a teenage boy were killed and more than a dozen people were injured as police had to open fire to disperse the crowd.
