Ranchi: Ranchi Police has arrested the accused of editing the photos of girls to make objectionable photos.
A young man named Vivek Kumar has been arrested from Muzaffarpur, Bihar.
Mobile phones have also been recovered from him, in which many photos of girls and screenshots of fake IDs of Instagram have been found.
SP Rajkumar Mehta gave this information in the press conference on Saturday.
SP Rajkumar Mehta said that a case was registered under POCSO Act and IT Act in Lalpur police station for harassing by making objectionable photos by editing them.
In which some girls of an educational institution were being harassed by sending their edited and objectionable photos on Instagram.
The police team arrested a youth named Vivek Kumar from Muzaffarpur, Bihar.
Vivek Kumar used to obtain photos of a girl by posing as her friend on Facebook and carried out this incident.
City SP Rajkumar Mehta said that the arrested Vivek is a vicious criminal.
Vivek first created a profile on social media describing himself as rich.
On the basis of that profile, he befriended a girl from Ranchi and then trapped her and obtained her objectionable picture.
After this Vivek started blackmailing the girl.
He used to ask this girl for nude photos of her friends and then add them to the nude video through fake photos and make it viral.
