Ranchi: A team of the Ranchi Municipal Corporation on Saturday inspected the cleanliness arrangements across various puja pandals of the capital. The team included Mayor Asha Lakra, Municipal Commissioner Shashi Ranjan, Additional Municipal Commissioner Kunwar Singh Pahan, Deputy Municipal Commissioner Rajnish Kumar, Assistant Municipal Commissioner Sheetal Kumari, city manager and other officials.
The Mayor said that for the last two years due to Corona, Durga Puja was being organized under the Corona Guidelines but his year the puja is being celebrated in a grand manner. While assessing the crowd, all worship committees will have to ensure that cleanliness is maintained and even the common people should not throw garbage here and there.
The Mayor said that keeping in mind that all the pandals of the corporation area should be clean and beautiful, arrangements have been made for day and night cleaning by the team of the corporation. Apart from this, the control room of the corporation is active 24 hours here common people or committees can register their complaints. The officers of the corporation are constantly touring the entire area and addressing if any deficiencies are being found.
The Municipal Commissioner urged the committees of all the puja pandals to keep the pandal and its surroundings clean during the Durga Puja festival. In case of any problem, register their complaint on the control room of the corporation at 0651-2200025 or 9431104429.
For quick action, a special task force of the corporation has been prepared, which is ensuring cleanliness in all the puja pandals with promptness 24 hours a day. The team of the corporation is working in alert mode, so that no devotee faces any kind of problem. There is darkness in many areas, where special lighting is being arranged by the corporation and al the major street lights of the city have been arranged he added.
