Ranchi: Ranchi DC Rahul Kumar Sinha directed all zonal officers to provide records related to crop damage caused to farmers due to hailstorm that occurred on February 14, 2024.
He said that records related to crop damage caused to farmers due to hailstorm should be made available soon, so that compensation can be given to the farmers at the right time.
While giving instructions regarding this, DC said that a help desk should be set up in their respective zones and applications should be given for crop damage caused due to hailstorm.
A proposal related to this has been asked to be prepared and sent through Deputy Collector Land Reforms, Sadar/Bundu Ranchi by 20 February 2024.
