Ramtahal Chaudhary, five-time MP from Ranchi, joins Congress

Ranchi: Ramtahal Choudhary, who was five-time MP from Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency, has joined Congress.

For many days, there were speculations about Ramtahal joining Congress.

Meanwhile, Ramtahal Choudhary joined the membership of Congress in Delhi on Thursday.

During this, veteran Congress leader Pawan Kheda, Jharkhand Congress in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir and state president Rajesh Thakur were present.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP had canceled the ticket of Ramtahal Chaudhary from Ranchi parliamentary constituency.

After this he became a rebel and left BJP.

He contested the 2019 elections as an independent candidate.

In which he suffered a crushing defeat, BJP’s Sanjay Seth won from the Ranchi Lok Sabha seat.

According to the latest information, Ravindra Pandey, former MP from Giridih and considered a veteran leader of BJP, is also in Delhi.

He met Jharkhand in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir there.
