Ramgarh: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren addressed two public meetings while campaigning for the by-polls on the Ramgarh seat of the Jharkhand Assembly during which he came down heavily on the opposition accusing it of even fixing the rate of every rate.
In his address at public meetings in Chitarpur and Gola, he said that motherhood has been brought into the court of the people and for seeking justice for Mamta Devi he was in the court of the people as it is the people who elect the Prime Minister Chief Minister MP and MLAs. He said that in these elections the democracy will win while the money of the opposition was defeated.
He said that the BJP and the AJSU have no sentiments in them as an infant had to get away from his mother and separating a child from her Maa is one of the biggest crimes. He described them as anti-Jharkhandi who do not want the poor to get their rights and dues. Continuing his attack on the opposition he said that they have fixed the rate of the votes as per which every male voter is being paid Rs 700 while Rs 300 is being distributed among female voters.
The Chief Minister said that when a person sells his vote it is equivalent to selling his home and family. He warned the people that if they vote for the opposition then they will take all the road contracts, mines and loading and unloading works. He said that people of Jharkhand have already taught them lessons in four previous bypolls and the result will be similar.
Hemant Soren said that in Jharkhand the government has to give homes to 8.50 lakh people but the Centre was not approving the same. He said that after 2024 the state government will come out with such a scheme so that no one is homeless in the state. He also pointed as to how the incidents of mob lynching have stopped in Jharkhand after his government came into power.
