Ranchi: It seems everything is not going well in the ruling coalition in the state as now ministers in the government have started giving statements against their own allies.
Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon said that RJD has now become a party of only Bihar. He said that RJD does not have a mass base in Jharkhand and is a small constituent party in the government.
RJD has also retaliated on this with party’s state president Abhay Singh in a press conference said that there is restlessness among all the parties due to the activism of Tejashwi Yadav, which is natural. He said that the Finance Minister should speak anything by staying within his limits.
He said that any statement should be made following the alliance dharma and such a statement does not suit a senior minister like him. In a programme organized in Latehar, Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon said that leaving the Janata Dal hundreds of RJD workers have taken the membership of the party by believing in the Congress party, due to which the Congress party has become very strong. In response, the RJD state president said that claims of hundreds of RJD workers joining the Congress is absolutely baseless. He said that not a single party worker has gone to any party.
Abhay Singh went on to claim that with the support of the Grand Alliance, it (Congress) has won the election as fighting alone would have revealed the real political standing of the Congress.
In the assembly elections, JMM, Congress and RJD together fought the elections under the banner of the Mahagathbandhan. RJD was successful in winning one seat from Chatra. RJD’s Satyanand Bhokta, who won from there, has been given a place in the cabinet as Labour Minister.
