Raj Bhavan is creating nuisance in passing three Important Bills – JMM

Ranchi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) Spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said in a press conference that often Raj Bhavan returns Bills passed by Jharkhand Assembly during a press conference in Ranchi on Friday.

He Said Monsoon Session started in the Jharkhand Assembly on Friday.

It is the duty of Assembly members to have a healthy discussion over concerned issues.

Supriyo Bhattacharaya said, the then Governor and in Present President Draupadi Murmu was well informed about the Chotanagpur Tenancy Act (CNT) and Santhal Pargana Tenancy Act (SPT) but it was rejected during her tenure.

Similarly, Mob Lynching 2021 Bill and OBC Reservation Bill was rejected by Governor House.

He said, when we send Bills Passed from Jharkhand Assembly to Raj Bhavan for its approval they often talk about Infiltration.

Governor House is creating Nuisance in passing Bills related to 1932 Domicile Policy, OBC Reservation and Anti Mob Lynching Bill.

Supriyo said, “Assembly Speaker is the custodian of the Session and its proceedings.”

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) MLA’s Wanted to have discussion over Local Domicile Policy and Facilities should be given to the locals.

Bhattacharya added, “If opposition have a problem then they should make rectifications of Bills and after discussions and amendments it should be passed.”

He said, “BJP wanted to destabilize the government, they have daily planning and they often execute it.”

Opposition forgot the 1855 Santhal Hul Revolt, Tamar Revolt and Kol Revolt.

Supriyo Bhattacharya said, “If Raj Bhavan is not approving these three bills then it will be unfortunate for us.”
