Rain may act as spoilsport in Holi! Met predicts rain on March 8-9

Ranchi: This time the rain can disturb the colors of Holi as the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain on March 8-9.

As per the weather station, Light rain may occur in 12 districts including the capital Ranchi, Palamu, Garhwa, Latehar, Lohardaga, and Gumla on March 7 and 8. Along with this, the sky will be partly cloudy on March 6, 7 and 8 in the southern, western and central parts of Jharkhand including the capital Ranchi.

There may be a change in the minimum temperature of Ranchi. The maximum temperature of capital Ranchi is seen at 30- 32 degrees. In the coming days, the temperature is likely to rise up to 34 degree Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather remained dry in the state in the last 24 hours.

Jamshedpur recorded the highest temperature of 36.6 degrees and Simdega recorded the minimum temperature of 13.3 degrees Whereas the maximum temperature of the capital Ranchi was recorded at 31.2 degrees and the minimum temperature was 18 degrees.
