Rain expected in Santhal Pargana from May 16, scorching heat will continue in the capital

Ranchi: As the temperature is increasing day by day the hot sun is leading to more discomfort to the people. According to the Meteorological Center the capital Ranchi and the surrounding districts are not going to get relief from this scorching heat at present. 

However, the Meteorological Department has also said that rain is expected in some parts of the state and the rain will occur in the district of Santhal Parganas while capital will have to witness the hot weather conditions. According to the forecast by the Meteorological Center, the people of Santhal Pargana can get relief from this heat.

Light to moderate rains are expected in some areas of Santhal Pargana from May 16 to 18. Its effect can also be in some parts of Kolhan.

According to the Meteorological Center, the weather will remain dry in the capital and neighboring areas till May 18. There is no forecast for rain during this time. The maximum temperature of the capital remained around 35 degree Celsius and it is expected to increase from May 15 while the temperature in 15 districts of the state crossed 35 degrees. 

According to the data released by the Meteorological Department Center, there are 15 districts in the state where the temperature has crossed 35 degrees. These include Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Daltonganj, Bokaro,  Deoghar, Garhwa, Giridih, Godda, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Khunti, Lohardaga, Pakur, Ramgarh, Sahibganj, Simdega and West Singhbhum.
