Raghubar Das to lay foundation of 15 industries on May 18: Rajbala

Ranchi, May 10: Jharkhand Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma said that
Chief Minister Raghubar Das would be laying foundation stone for
setting up of 15 companies in the state on May 18.
After inspecting the land at Ormajhi and Pundag Ms Verma said that the
state government has fixed a target to provide land to 30 companies by
the month of June. She said that post the global investors summit the
state government had started the process of allotting the land to the
investors for which apart from government land, land from the ‘rayats’
was also being acquired with their consent after paying four times the
market rate.
The Chief Secretary said that the state government has adequate land
and apart from Ranchi land was also being identified in Jamshedpur,
Bokaro, Saraikela and Hazaribagh districts for setting up of
industrial units. She said that the investors would be provided land
as per their requirements. She said that on all the identified land
the banner of the land belonging to Jharkhand Industrial Area
Development Authority has been asked to install.
As part of the inspection programme the Chief Secretary first visited
Ormanjhi were the identified 20 acres of land was found fit to
establish a blanket manufacturing unit. She asked the officials to
construct a boundary wall around the land and erect a banner of JIADA.
She suggested that the ITI building situated adjacent to the land can
be used as a training center. After Ormanjhi she visited Pundag where
she inspected 103 acres of land which was found to be fit for setting
up of educational institutions, hotels and hospitals.
