Raghubar asks people top remain away from divisive forces

Jamshedpur (By our Correspondent): Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Sunday asked the people to stay away from the divisive forces which plan to create a rift in the society and the state and adopt unifying forces so that it brings social harmony and
increases bonding between the people.

Addressing the people during a Jan Chaupal organised at Bhagbandi under Dumaria blocks of the East Singhbhum district he said that the state government was making efforts to reduce the gap between the people and the government so that the middlemen and the anti-social elements are not able to take its advantage. He said that the process of development which had commenced after he assumed power has now let people talk about the development of the state. He said that once Jharkhand was known for its corruption and Naxalism but now under his transparent and corruption-free government there are talks of only development which was visible all across.

The Chief Minister said that the state government was working rapidly in the areas of infrastructure development and was working on the schemes which have been decided by the people. He said that in this period in the East Singhbhum district 350 kilometers of roads and 39 bridges and culverts have been built mainly to improve connectivity as without basic requirements of water power and roads the development of the villages was not possible.

Mr. Das said that the state government was working with a target to electrify 32,000 villages by December 2018 and from 2019 will provide separate feeders for industries, household and agricultural works. He said that to improve the power scenario in the state the government was undertaking construction of substations and said that 247 far-flung villages will lighten up using solar power.
