Mumbai — Actress Raashii Khanna paid a heartfelt tribute to Lord Shiva this Maha Shivratri by presenting her soulful rendition of the devotional track Shiv Kailashon Ke Waasi.
Sung as an expression of faith and gratitude, the actress shared the bhajan on social media along with an emotional message. She described the song as a personal offering to Mahadev, created with devotion, surrender, and thankfulness, while expressing hope that it would bring peace, strength, and blessings to listeners.
Raashii also acknowledged the creative team behind the devotional track, including the music composers and producers, vocal contributors, instrumentalists, and the production crew involved in shaping the project.
The bhajan serves as a spiritual invocation of Mahadev, believed to reside at Mount Kailash, symbolising inner awakening, the destruction of ego, and spiritual transcendence.
On the professional front, Raashii is set to appear in the upcoming film Ustaad Bhagat Singh opposite Pawan Kalyan. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and directed by Harish Shankar, the project features an ensemble cast including Sreeleela, Parthiban, KS Ravikumar, Ramky, Nawab Shah, Gauthami, Naga Mahesh, and Temper Vamsi. The film marks her first on-screen collaboration with Pawan Kalyan, where she plays a significant character named Shloka.
Her upcoming projects also include Farzi 2 alongside Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi, as well as Talakhon Mein Ek. She will also feature in the thriller Bridge, co-starring R. Madhavan, along with an untitled drama project with Akshay Kumar.
