Ranchi: The mother of a soldier posted in the army was murdered by criminals on 14 October. After the murder, the body was packed in a sack and thrown into the check dam. The criminals have not been arrested yet by the police.
In protest against this, ex-servicemen staged a protest in front of Raj Bhavan on Saturday. During this, a demand was made from the Governor and CM to give orders for the arrest of criminals. The incident took place in Kharkhodiya of Thakurgangti police station area of Godda district.
On this occasion, former soldier Balveer Chaudhary said that there should be an impartial investigation into the murder. Soldiers are always deployed on the border to serve the country. They protect the people and the country with their impartiality. Instead of arresting the murderer, the police are busy covering up the case. We will continue to protest until the culprit is arrested.
Hundreds of ex-servicemen including Ex-Servicemen Association President Mukesh Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Anil Kumar Yadav, Mithilesh Prasad Sinha, Subedar SN Singh were present on the occasion.
