Program on World Mental Health Day at Koshish Special School

Ranchi: On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, a one-day program was organized by the school secretary Deepa Choudhary at Koshish Special School located in Argora Housing Colony.

Parents of children studying in special schools also participated in this program.

The chief guest of the program was Dr. Jyoti Walia, specialist in child psychology.

Ramshobha, Principal of College of Education Chutupalu Ramgarh participated in the program.

The program started by lighting the lamp by chief guest Dr. Jyoti Walia.

Children of Shosh School made paintings on World Mental Health Day.

Dr. Jyoti Walia, while talking about awareness on mental health, said that people should pay attention to the mental condition of their child.

Focusing on the holistic development of special children, he said that we should pay more attention to such children than others, special children are also good in some field or the other.

Just like someone does good painting, someone plays well, let him progress in those fields.

Also, the role of special teachers and parents will have to contribute to the children.

It is also very important to have coordination and support between parents and teachers.

Deepa Choudhary, Neeta Rai and all the teachers of Prayas School were present in the program. Parents Sushma Saran, Samita Bose, Priyanka Baske, Tumpa Mandal, Ajit Kumar along with school’s special teachers Ananjay Kumar, Gayatri Kumari, Anuj Kumar were present in the programme.
