Ranchi: 23rd Foundation Day Celebrated on Birsa Munda’s Birth Anniversary in Jharkhand. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) General secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jharkhand.
He said, PM Narendra Modi ignored the issues of HEC and Sarana Dharm Code. Jan Jatiya Gourav Diwas is celebrated on November 15. First tribal President Druapadi Murmu arrived last year on the same day.
He added, PM Modi launched various Yojana’s but never talked on the issues coming on 5th and 6th Schedule. PM launched Jan – Man Yojana for Justice and Work but never talked about Aadivasi Righst and culture. The Prime Minister often talks about Tribes but never visits Manipur and Mizoram. Both the states come under 6th Schedule. 39 seats out of 40 Vidhan Sabha Seats are reserved for tribes in Mizoram. But he never visited Mizoram at least once in an assembly election.
Bhattacharya said, Khunti was selected to target elections to be held in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. He said, to disturb the government CBI, ED and Income Tax were working. Now the Prime Minister himself is accompanied by these agencies involved to make a disturbance to the State Government. He said, PM will sell HEC to Adani. BJP Government in Centre made Forest Amendment Act, now Forest and forest products are being sold to corporates. But the BJP government forgot about the inhabitants of forest, The Tribes.
