Preparations intensified in Deoghar, Ranchi, and Khunti for the visit of President Draupadi Murmu

Ranchi/ Deoghar: Preparations are going on in full swing for President Draupadi Murmu’s visit to Jharkhand which will be spread across three cities of Deoghar, Ranchi and Khunti. 

The President will be on a Jharkhand tour from 24 to 26 May. First of all, after reaching Deoghar, she will offer prayers at Baba Baidyanath temple. In view of the President’s visit, Deoghar Airport, Pandey Mod, Kunda Mod, Tower Chowk, Baba Baidyanath Temple and Circuit House have been temporarily declared Red Zones on 23 and 24 May. 

Regarding the President’s visit, Devendra Srivastava, the senior maintenance staff of the Eastern Air Command reached Deoghar to take stock of the situation there and prepared a report. At the same time, there is complete preparation to welcome the President at the Raj Bhavan in Ranchi. The painting of the walls of Raj Bhavan is going on. 

Regarding the President’s visit, the duty of 5400 additional police personnel has been put in place for his security in the three districts. 2000 additional jawans will be deployed in Deoghar, 2500 in Ranchi and 900 in Khunti. RAP soldiers are also included in this. DIG, SP and DSP rank officers are also on duty. Central agencies and local PIB officials are working overtime to make president visit peaceful and successful.

Minute-to-minute program of President Draupadi Murmu: , May 24, 7:00 am – Departure from Delhi to Deoghar by Airforce aircraft, 8:55 am – President will reach Deoghar, 9:20 am – Will worship in Baidyanath temple, 10:20 am – will reach Circuit House, 11:00 am – President’s plane will leave for Ranchi, 12:00 noon – President will reach Ranchi airport, 12:30 pm – Wreath laying at Albert Ekka Chowk. 1:00 pm – Raj Bhavan arrival 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm –Meeting with the primitive tribal group at Raj Bhavan, 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm – Inauguration program of the new High Court building, Night rest at Raj Bhavan after returning from the program,May 25.

President will address the women of Self Help Group in Khunti,Will participate in IIT convocation held at Namkum, Overnight stay at Raj Bhavan, May 26, Will leave for Delhi after meeting dignitaries at Raj Bhavan.
