Gumla: An international conference was organized on 29 and 30 November at Kartik Oraon College Gumla, located in a remote tribal dominated area under Ranchi University. About 150 abstracts have been received so far for this.
The theme of the international conference has been kept as Ethnobotany, Environmental Sustainability and Multidisciplinary Research.
About 300 scientists and participants from 15 states of the country will participate in this conference. Apart from this, scientists from Canada, China and Sri Lanka will also participate.
Apart from famous institutes of the country like CFTRI Mysore, NBRI Lucknow, Neeri Nagpur, scientists from West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Odisha, and Jharkhand will also present their research papers on this occasion. Scientists from many countries of the world will also present their research papers through virtual medium.
