Possibility of rain in some parts of Jharkhand – MeT

Ranchi:  Rain has been predicted in some areas of the state during Durga Puja. However, this possibility is still very low. A low-pressure area is formed in the southeast and east central border areas of the Bay of Bengal. Because of this, there is a possibility of rain.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain for two days. This rain may occur in the north-eastern, south-eastern and eastern and central parts of the state. 

According to the forecast by Weather Centre Ranchi, the sky will be clear in Ranchi and surrounding areas on October 22-23, while it may remain partly cloudy on October 24 and 25. Talking about rain, there is a possibility of light rain at some places in the north-eastern and south-eastern parts of the state on October 24 and in the eastern and adjacent central parts of the state on October 25.

According to the Meteorological Center Ranchi, the sky will be clear on the 26th and 27th of October. According to meteorologist Abhishek Anand, a low-pressure area has formed in the southeast and east central border areas of the Bay of Bengal. 

This system will move northwest and convert into a depression over the West Central Bay of Bengal. After this, this system will move from the north-northwest towards the coastal border areas of Bangladesh and West Bengal in the next three days.

He said that due to the changing weather patterns including the depression of the Bay of Bengal, there is every possibility of the minimum temperature falling by two-three degrees Celsius in the next two days. After this, the minimum temperature may gradually increase by two to three degrees Celsius.
