Chaibasa: Police seized 186 Plastic Bags containing 3723 Kilograms high quality of Doda, drugs from a truck during a search operation in Chaibasa – Chakradharpur Highway in West Singhbhum, Jharkhand on Tuesday.
According to Police, The truck was carrying high quality drugs coming from Chakradharpur to Chaibasa on Tuesday morning. Chaibasa Police raided the truck on secret information.
Police said, during the search operation, the truck driver and his helper escaped successfully. During the search operation, 40 Bags of Rice and Mudi were found along with 186 hidden bags of Doda, Drugs in the Truck.
186 Bags of Doda containing 3723 Kilograms of Drugs were recovered by Chaibasa police.
Police registered an FIR no 81/2024 on May 21, 2024 under IPC 15 (C), 18 (B), 25 NDPS Act in the Chaibasa Police Station.
