Ranchi: The roofs of all the houses in the city located on the route of the Ram Navami procession were inspected with drones on Monday. Under the leadership of Kotwali DSP Prakash Soy, the roof was inspected by drone in the Hindpiri and Daily Market police station area.
All precautions are being taken by the administration to maintain law and order in the procession. To ensure that there is no stone pelting during the procession, all the houses on the procession route are being checked by the district administration and police administration.
During investigation, bricks and stones were found on the roofs of some houses, instructions have been given to remove them. Apart from this, places have been selected for installing CCTV cameras on the procession route and various intersections.
DSP Prakash Soy said that the district administration has started the process of installing temporary CCTV cameras to keep an eye on the Ram Navami procession. These will be monitored from the control room. The procession will be closely monitored through CCTV. No anti-social element will be spared. Strict action will be taken against the miscreants by identifying them through CCTV.
